Katy HelpsStarring Katy Helps as Cora Pearl

Katy is thrilled to be performing as Cora Pearl in Glamour Girl, Quill and Inkling’s first full length production. Recent stage credits include Petruchio/Tranio/Bianca in The Taming of the Shrew with Illyria, Cathy in Wuthering Heights, Elinor in Sense and Sensibility and Jane in Pride and Prejudice with Chapterhouse Theatre Company. Screen work includes Joanna in Killer on the Line (Crime and Investigation Channel) Karen in Retracare (Corporate) and Danielle in The Bill  (ITV). Katy trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Canavan ConnollyCanavan Connolly as Delamarche

Canavan is a graduate of The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and in the subsequent years enjoyed such varied roles as Dr Watson (Broken Holmes, Edinburgh 2009 & 2013, Leicester 2010) and Lady Bracknell (In a Handbag Darkly, Edinburgh 2012).  He has been drivers and gangsters for Secret Cinema, prison guards and bank robbers for You Me Bum Bum Train, and this August will be reviving some old English comedies in Drolls at the Edinburgh Fringe.  This well travelled actor will be debuting on the St Albans stage, but be it The Theatre Royal Haymarket, or the Teatro Municipal in Murcia, his aim is always to bring the characters to life.

Evelyn Shaw is an actor and singer from Co Kildare, Ireland. Evelyn trained on the MA Musical Theatre course at Guildford School of Acting, having initially gained a BA in Dramaand English from Trinity College Dublin.  Theatre credits include Colette in Uprising (Smashing Times, Project Cube Dublin), Little Red in Red Riding Hood the Musical (Talisman Theatre, Irish tour), Red in Red Riding Hood’s Dangerous Christmas Adventure (Mill Theatre, Dublin), Lydia Bennet in Pride and Prejudice and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Chapterhouse Theatre, UK / Ireland tour), Mrs Barn Owl in The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark (Blunderbus Theatre, UK tour and DUCTAC Theatre, Dubai), Helena Moloney in The Woman is Present: Women’s Stories of 1916 (Smashing Times, Smock Alley Theatre Dublin) and Helen in Testimonies (Smashing Times, Smock Alley Theatre Dublin).  She also works as a713431a9-a567-4821-901a-5178e95aec77 drama facilitator for weekend-based stage schools and special needs groups, and runs her own series of performing arts camps in Ireland, Summer Stage.  Evelyn is delighted to be working with Quill and Inkling on Glamour Girl and can’t wait to get started!

Ciaran Lonsdale as Brunet

Ciaran was classically trained at The Oxford School of Drama where he graduated in July 2016. His most recent theatre credits include World Mad (Soho Theatre) and Paradoxy (Trafalgar Studios). He makes his professional stage debut in Glamour Girl as Brunet.
